Altarik Banks is a native of East Orange, New Jersey. He founded Homa, after completing a designer residency at university based MIX Innovation and 3D Printing Lab. Leading the charge as design principal, he designs forms with a deep interest in materials, sustainability, and fabrication processes. He said he would be the one in a business suit, even after coming from a lineage of master carpenters. Fast forward a decade later, and he is a natural tinkerer who loves to get messy.
