Born in New Jersey in 1992, Cat Atomic, born Felix Martinez, started his professional art career as a graphic artist for an international retailer at just 19. After being introduced to designer toys in his early 20's by a friend, he began exploring the medium in his spare time, but soon found himself showing his work in group exhibitions in galleries all over. At 26 years old, his first entirely solo show, The Secret Behind the Light, opened at Clutter Gallery in Beacon, NY.

In 2019, Cat Atomic collaborated with world renowned designer QUICCS to release his first production toy, RGB TEQ63. This release allowed him to establish his name within the world of designer toys.

Currently, Atomic is actively collaborating with other artists and manufacturers on more toy releases. Additionally, he is focusing on his fine art, which features his signature and unique personal style of multicolored biomorphic shapes.
